This piece is part of a limited collaboration with Kate Freeman of The Artificers, where art and garment come together in a truly one-of-a-kind way. Each canvas begins as a hand-painted work by Kate, using acrylic paint blended with a fabric medium to enhance flexibility and durability—allowing the artwork to move naturally with the garment.
The painted canvas is reworked into this piece through a thoughtful, hands-on process. A portion is precisely cut to fit the back yoke, while the remaining canvas is transformed into wave-like shapes that move across the front in a fluid, cohesive pattern.
No two pieces are exactly alike. Each one carries the character of the original artwork and the hands that shaped it, making every piece entirely unique.
