Description:
This piece is part of a limited collaboration with Kate Freeman of The Artificers, where art and garment come together in a truly one-of-a-kind way. Each canvas begins as a hand-painted work by Kate, using acrylic paint blended with a fabric medium to enhance flexibility and durability - allowing the artwork to move naturally with the garment.
The painted canvas is reworked into this piece by cutting two rectangular panels and folding them into structured box pleats. These are then sewn into the slit, creating a more refined, modest silhouette with added movement and dimension.
No two pieces are exactly alike. Each one carries the character of the original artwork and the hands that shaped it, making every piece entirely unique.
